Do you know that problem?
There are beams in the way from the technical center to the ascending rope. The statics can only tolerate small holes in the beam, too small to pass all the pipes, cable routes, and ventilation ducts. These then have to be laid around it, in an expensive and time-consuming way.
No more of this!
beamUp creates openings that are just as high and wide as you need them to be in order to guide all cables and ducts collision-free and on the shortest path between them. beamUp is a steel element that replaces the reinforced concrete beam in the critical area.
The position, number, and size of the openings are freely selectable. The height and width of the openings correspond to the geometry of the reinforced concrete beam.
beamUp is compatible with in-situ concrete ceilings, prestressed concrete hollow ceilings, and semi-finished ceilings.
beamUp fits into any normal-sized reinforced concrete beam.
The tension belt of the beamUp is fire-protected by coating.
The stiffeners connect the tension belt to the flat ceiling profile and are fire-protected by coating.
The connector is the connecting element of the beamUp to the concrete cross-section.
Welded-on reinforcement bars ensure power transmission.
beamUp enables the use of any support and column construction.
The flat ceiling profile forms the ceiling support, is at the same time the beamUp's compression belt and the local bending beam above the opening area.
beamUp is delivered to the construction site “just-in-time”. After installing the supplied screw reinforcement, the on-site beam reinforcement is added. Then the beamUp with the reinforcement cage is lifted into the pre-equipped formwork. As usual, the ceiling is shuttered, reinforced and concreted.
You can configure your beamUp in no time.
